Truth for a New Generation

February 4, 2009

Webster’s definition of Truth is “ideal or fundamental reality apart from and transcending perceived experience”, Yet the very existence of such an ideal is in often questioned. Your own definition of truth is integral to your worldview, especially today with so many people seeking truth and are drowning in relativism. This is especially true of young americans, having grown up in a pluralistic culture that has only offered them one answer: there is no answer. One thing is certain, however – the people of the younger generation don’t know where to place their faith. The church fails to speak to them – the world offers its tretus: the only absolute is that there are no absolutes and the only thing they know is what they don’t believe.

The goal of the Veritas Project is to Succeed where others have failed. Many young Christians leave high school with solid Bible-based faith, yet most of them leave college doubting the truth of their childhood beliefs. Why? Because they’ve heard only one side of the argument. The Veritas Project exists to offer the other side . . .
